Founded in 1970, FGI Science and Technology Co., Ltd (short for FGI) is a national high-tech state-owned enterprise specializing in R&D, production, sales and service of frequency inverters, Static Var Generator, explosion-proof products (inverters & SVGs), and energy storage products etc.
In 2021, FGI becomes the public listed company, it is also the subsidiary of Shandong Energy Group, one of the world's top 500 companies. FGI has 900+ employees, the manufacture center covers an area of 170,000m2. From 2021, FGI becomes the biggest manufacturer of high-voltage inverters and SVGs in China, with the 9 assembly lines, the annual production capacity is as high as 6500-10000 sets of high-voltage products.
As the first batch of inverter and SVG R&D and manufacturer in China, FGI is one of the core drafting and validating company of MVD standard. Until now, FGI has received 350+ patents and more than 35 software copyright.
